With the continuous progress of science and technology and people’s constant pursuit of high-quality life, smart home is more and more popular.
In this paper, the intelligent home control system is analyzed and studied, and the intelligent home control system with programmable controller as the core is designed.
Intelligent control of indoor household is achieved by configuring remote monitoring and remote control functions. The intelligent home control system integrates the functions of home electrical equipment automation, home safety protection and home environment monitoring. It can give full play to the performance of intelligent home and provide a safe and comfortable home environment. With the rapid development of computer network technology, control technology and artificial intelligence, intelligent society has become the latest development trend. As the epitome of intelligent society, the construction of intelligent community has also developed rapidly in recent years, and “smart home” has been stir-fried and developed and applied forcefully. The emergence of smart home promotes the quality of life of users [2]. The overall structure of the system consists of three parts: PC control module, PLC control module and smart home equipment module. First of all, desktop or notebook can be used as the upper computer of programmable controller.
The man-machine interface is composed of Kingview software, which is responsible for communication with PLC, real-time monitoring and local control of smart home equipment. The input end of the programmable controller receives the signal from the terminal, while the output end controls the switch of all kinds of household appliances. After comparing the information in the current mode with the information received, the judgment is obtained through data analysis and the immediate instructions are executed. Finally, the terminal-only control is completed. The PLC intelligent home control system designed by this system is mainly divided into automatic control part, information collection part and remote monitoring part. The automatic control part includes intelligent lighting system, intelligent household appliances control system and intelligent household safety system. The information acquisition part includes intelligent air quality control system, intelligent power management system and intelligent care system for the elderly and children. It mainly uses smoke sensor MQ-2, gas sensor MQ-5 and SHT11 temperature and humidity sensor to monitor temperature and humidity. The remote monitoring part mainly uses GSM system to communicate with the control system.
PLC can interpret instructions and carry out inquiries through GSM messages. The control system diagram of PLC smart home is shown in Figure 1.
This system uses the output contacts of PLC to control the nodes of household appliances. Intelligent home hardware system is mainly divided into the following parts: Intelligent lighting scheme. Intelligent home lighting system mainly controls the light source through intelligent dimming technology. In different scenarios and modes, light sensors are used to collect indoor light intensity information, and then analyzed by the PLC system to achieve programmable control of lights, switching time and illumination brightness at different locations in order to achieve intelligent lighting.
Intelligent household appliances control scheme. Intelligent household appliances control is realized by triggering between remote controller and socket to control intelligent equipment such as air conditioner, water heater, washing machine, curtain and so on. Intelligent Home Security System. The operation of safety system mainly depends on all kinds of sensors, including gate magnetic switch, infrared detector and so on. Such sensors collect the received signals and transmit them to the PLC for identification.
If abnormal appearance occurs, the system will send an alarm to ensure the safety of the home environment. Intelligent air quality detection system. The smoke alarm value is set according to the actual situation of the family, and the control system collects data in real time. Intelligent power management system. Electric equipment can be set up and perfected beforehand to reduce power consumption and waste.
Intelligent care system for the elderly and children. Through intelligent security, emergency help, intelligent access control, gas detection, air quality control and other technologies, provide reliable protection and ideal living environment for the elderly and children at home. The software part is the key to the logical realization of the control function and the interaction with users. When designing the software of PLC control system, its programming language is mainly ladder diagram, and the transmission of system information depends on network, so TCP/IP protocol is chosen as the communication protocol. The main control device module identifies the control commands transmitted by the sensor and makes effective calls to them and outputs them.
In the aspect of remote monitoring, configuration software is used to design the configuration, which is displayed on the man-machine interface by animation, so that people can understand the operation status of home appliances more intuitively. The corresponding monitoring interface can also be designed to complete the status monitoring and operation management of the system. Smart home is a product of the combination of various high-tech and emerging technologies, and it is a flourishing industry. It makes home become “wise” and “vivid”, and has a wide range of application needs.
In this paper, thermostatic element the use of PLC as the core of smart home network can realize the automatic control of smart home appliances, remote monitoring using mobile terminals, so that home life is safer and more comfortable.
