Based on the demand of human market, this paper expounds the reasons and significance of the reform of the teaching content of programmable controller, the adjustment of school hours and contents; compares the advantages and disadvantages of Mitsubishi and Siemens in teaching, and finally chooses Siemens programmable controller as the new teaching content according to the employment orientation. According to the syllabus, the allocation of theoretical and practical hours and experimental contents are re-planned, and favorable measures are adopted to increase students’learning motivation and improve students’ learning effect. Programmable Controller (PLC) is a compulsory course for mechanical and electronic engineering majors, which is offered in the fourth grade of students’university. It mainly involves the courses of Electrical Control and Principles of Computer Composition. Domestic employment market needs to recruit new students of mechanical and electronic engineering, as follows: enterprises that develop and develop pumping station control system; enterprises that develop and produce rolling mills and injection moulding machines; enterprises that develop parts transportation control in warehouses; enterprises that develop production line test equipment; enterprises that develop and produce waste recycling vehicles. Enterprises, etc. [1]. The author participated in the training of Siemens PLC WinCC held in Beijing in August 2016, and participated in the training for university teachers and enterprises that used programmable controller to develop production equipment. In the process of communication and communication with these enterprises, it was learned that most enterprises require students majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering to master Siemens programmable controller. Hardware configuration and software programming. Programmable Controller is a practical course, and the practical teaching environment is very important. Programmable Controller experiments are taught by full-time experimental teachers. The teaching place is our experimental center. The experimental equipment used is the programmable controller hardware experimental box with FX1S-20MR programmable controller produced by Mitsubishi Company as the core.
In order to integrate theory with practice and guide students to apply what they have learned, the content of the course “Programmable Controller” chooses the programmable controller produced by Mitsubishi Company. The hardware of programmable controller is mainly FX series. On this basis, software programming teaches Mitsubishi’s ladder diagram, instruction list and step-by-step function instructions. The specific class hour arrangement is shown in Table 1, and the experimental class content and class hour arrangement are shown in Table 2. Mitsubishi PLC is an early product in and out of the Chinese market, because Mitsubishi PLC has a high cost-effective, easy to learn and use; Mitsubishi programming simulation software is easy to install, easy to uninstall, and the operating system requirements are not high; therefore, students are easy to install programmable software in personal computers, easy to operate and practice after class; teaching effect is good. The installation and unloading of Siemens’programmable controller software is more complex, which requires a higher operating system; the software platform is more complex, and it is difficult to operate and learn.
But Siemens’programmable controller hardware is easy to expand, visual simulation software and WINCC are powerful and widely used.
Considering the demand of the employment market for programmable talents, Siemens’ programmable controller is the mainstream of the market. In order to increase students’employment competitiveness, teaching reform is carried out. To achieve the teaching reform of programmable controller, we should take the post requirement as the guidance and Siemens products as the core.
In the first round of teaching reform, Siemens 200 is adopted as the teaching content, in line with the new syllabus and personnel training program; the time allocation of Programmable Controller for mechanical and electrical specialty, the necessary adjustment of theoretical and practical links, and the time allocation of theoretical and practical links are shown in Table 3; and the arrangement of experimental contents is shown in Table 4. In order to cultivate students’interest in learning and enhance their learning effect, QQ group for learning and communication is organized, Siemens 200 installation program and simulation software are shared, and students are encouraged to download to personal computers for installation and use. In view of the problems existing in the use and operation of Siemens software after class, the students should give a unified answer in the group and reply in time. In order to improve students’learning and practical ability, actively organize and guide students to participate in competitions of programmable controllers, thermostatic element such as Siemens Wincc Competition; broaden students’ knowledge, improve students’software simulation ability; deepen the understanding of the application of programmable controllers. Programmable controller is a very practical subject. Therefore, according to the needs of teaching, new Siemens experimental teaching facilities are applied.
Since the first round of teaching reform is Siemens 200 series, which combines theory with practice by means of software simulation, and the products of Siemens 200 are on the verge of being eliminated, it is planned that the next few rounds of teaching will gradually be transformed into teaching Siemens 300/400 and new Siemens teaching facilities will be applied for Siemens 300/400. In teaching, combining with the important information of feedback programmable controller which was widely used in the work of former electromechanical majors, students are guided to understand the importance of Siemens’programmable learning; students overcome difficulties in the learning process and have a high enthusiasm for learning; and actively install software to personal computers; and actively participate in Siemens’ programmable learning. Controller competition; learning results are generally significantly improved, learning effect is remarkable. This paper introduces the teaching reform of the programmable controller guided by the term of the talent employment market.
Through the teaching reform, the teaching content is closer to the requirements of the employing enterprises. It also takes favorable measures to enhance the learning effect of students and makes good progress in teaching.
