Reza Electronics announced the launch of the RL78/F15 family of low-power 16-bit microcontrollers for the body control module (BCM), air conditioning, electric seats and other automotive control systems. As a sub-series of RL78 series micro-control, RL78/F15 products achieve industry-leading CAN communication with low power consumption, high performance and independent control and diagnosis.
The products are fully compatible with RL78/F13 and RL78/F14.
RL78/F15 series products have added 144 pin packages. Products with 48 or more pins are equipped with 512KB on-chip flash memory.
Together with the RL78/F13 and RL78/F14 families, thermostatic element 127 kinds of products are provided. The number of pins varies from 20 to 144.
The system manufacturer can choose the microcontroller which best meets the system requirements. RL78/F15 family product software can be compatible with RL78/F13 and RL78/F14. System manufacturers can choose these products to meet the requirements of functional expansion of future products.
