In game console, the Xbox series accessories are the best support for Windows. The current mainstream operating system Windows 10 can map the host content to the computer, thermostatic element and the Xbox One handle can also seamlessly connect to Windows.
Not only that, but there are also novel ways to use third-party tools such as Gopher 360 to turn Xbox handles into mice. Xbox One director said that he is planning to develop the keyboard and mouse that can be used in the game for Xbox One, so that not only the advantage of Xbox One in the FPS shooting game will be further increased, but also the input of text and chat information will be very convenient in the game.
Now the host game controller can also be used on PC (Figure 1).
At present, the game console handle transmitted to Windows 10 can only control the part of the game. Windows operation depends on keyboard and mouse to control the basic window function. Have you ever thought about throwing away the mouse and keyboard and using the Xbox controller to control everything? It turns out that it can be done, and the whole process is extremely simple. All you have to do on your PC is download a program called Gopher 360 (github.com/Tylemagne/Gopher 360/releases), right-click the program and select “Run as an Administrator”. This is not an installer, but rather a processing file (Figure 2). Once the program runs in the background, you can use the left rocker on the Xbox controller to move the mouse cursor at will and the right rocker to scroll easily.
If you need to type in text, go to the Windows control panel and open the virtual keyboard (Figure 3), then you can use a handle to implement the basic keyboard and mouse functions.
If you close the program, it will stop running, so if you want the computer to turn on the Gopher360, you can consider adding it to your startup folder. Open the runtime box and type shell: startup (Figure 4), pasting the shortcut of Gopher.
exe into the open window (Figure 5).
