The widespread application of programmable controller in production makes industrial production automated and greatly improves production efficiency.
Therefore, new workers are required to master the use, maintenance, maintenance and programming of programmable controller skillfully. Therefore, learning programmable controller and its application courses well is related to students’employment. Starting from improving students’interest in learning, this paper elaborates on compiling suitable textbooks, scientific and reasonable teaching methods and harmonious teacher-student relationship.
The world’s first programmable controller, which was born in the United States in 1989, brought a technological revolution to automatic control. It makes the traditional relay control replaced by automatic control. Because the programmable controller adopts multi-layer anti-interference measures, it greatly improves the stability and reliability of operation.
At the same time, it can dynamically monitor the implementation of the program, check its own faults, greatly improve the production efficiency and shorten the design and construction cycle. Programmable controller and its application is one of the most important professional courses in electrical engineering. In recent years, with the improvement of factory automation, the use of programmable controllers has become more and more common, and the requirements of enterprises for new employees’basic skills have become increasingly stringent. Therefore, how to improve students’ interest in learning programmable controllers and their application courses has become an important lesson for teachers of electrical automation specialty.
Question. Based on more than 20 years of teaching experience, the author believes that in order to improve students’interest in learning programmable controller and its application courses, we should start from the following three aspects. Programmable Controller and its Application, published by China Labor and Social Security Publishing House, is full of pictures and texts. It adopts an integrated teaching mode and strives to create a more intuitive cognitive environment for students. However, some contents are unreasonable or even inapplicable, which raises the learning difficulty of students. For example, when introducing the knowledge of programmable logic controller software, for the design of ladder diagram, only the principles that must be followed in designing ladder diagram are introduced. How to design ladder diagram and how to let students master the elements of ladder diagram are not introduced in detail.
Therefore, it is not conducive to students’self-study, and also makes this part of knowledge. Not specific, not systematic. Therefore, it is urgent to arrange school-based textbooks appropriately according to students’actual situation to improve students’ interest in learning. At the same time, the experiment contents should be arranged appropriately. The Programmable Logic Controller and its Application published by China Labor and Social Security Press is not very reasonable for some PLC design arrangements.
The experiment of PLC design should be easy to realize, thermostatic element which can make students experience the fun of experiment, instead of designing for realizing a special application in reality. The difficulty is too high, on the contrary, it cancels students’interest in learning and makes them hesitate. At the same time, the arrangement of experiment should be from easy to difficult, from simple to complex, step by step, such as from the light control of a small lamp to continuous control, and then to the pattern control of several small lights, etc., to properly increase the difficulty of each class, so that students are imperceptibly influenced, thereby enhancing their interest in learning.
Traditional cramming teaching has long been unsuitable for today’s mechanic education.
Modern teaching methods should embody students as the main body and teachers as the leading role. Teachers only play a guiding role. Teachers’words and deeds are related to the cultivation of students’ good behavior. Therefore, teachers should establish noble personality charm so that students are willing to surround themselves with teachers and feel at ease when they see them. At the same time, teachers should have a positive attitude and full of love, and do everything for students and students. Some teachers teach day after day, year after year, but never find pleasure in teaching, but feel very boring and boring. Such a teacher will never succeed in education or do a good job in teaching. Therefore, love for students is the source of strength of education and the foundation of successful education. Teachers should devote all their efforts to love students and education.
